I'm going away this weekend. With 10 gals I know from church. All of them are hyper-religious. While I believe the same things they do, I'm far less "gung-ho for Jesus" than they are. I break the rules and know I'm doing it. I feel a little bit bad about it, but I just don't find certain things to be as big a deal as the church makes them out to be. My suitcase contains a Bible, though I probably haven't opened one outside a church service in well over a year.
My suitcase also contains a vibrator, tucked carefully away where there is no chance of it being discovered by any of the others. I'm hoping to set up a call with one of my phone boys for tomorrow night; pre-planned because I will not have internet access at the beachhouse. But I do very much want to slip away from the house and onto the dark beach, speak to a lover, hearing and feeling the waves crash, both inside and out.
